Robert C. Rosenbalm Sr.

HICKORY - Robert Calvin Rosenbalm Sr., 75, of Conover, passed away Dec. 7, 2010, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born Feb. 20, 1935, in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Andrew Hinson and RosaLee Ramsey Rosenbalm. Mr. Rosenbalm retired from Seagles Furniture and was a member of the Newton Senior Morning Out. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Julie Rosenbalm; and a sister, Mary Sue R. Yates. Mr. Rosenbalm is survived by four sons, Robert C. Rosenbalm Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Statesville, Jeffrey Rosenbalm and wife, Kelly, David Christopher Rosenbalm and wife, Cynthia, all of Statesville, Tommy F. Rosenbalm of Hickory; five daughters, Carolyn R. Plyer and husband, David, of North Wilkesboro, Jeanette R. Cox and husband, James, of Ashe County, Roberta R. Brunck and husband, Aaron, of Clyde, Malinda R. Reid and husband, Robert, of Waynesville, Jennifer R. Greene and husband, Terry, of Granite Falls; a brother, Danny Andrew Rosenbalm of Belmont; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and Robin Curtis, thanks for being a great friend to our Dad. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 11, 2010, in the chapel of Bass-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brookford City Cemetery.
