Robert Isenhour Jr. CATAWBA Robert (Bob) Henry Isenhour Jr., 57, passed away at his home in Catawba after a period of declining health and into God's Heavenly Kingdom Sunday, March 10, 2013. Born into God's Earthly Kingdom June 7, 1955 in Catawba County, Bob was the son of Shirley Mathis Isenhour Havner and the late Robert Henry Isenhour Sr. He was employed at McGuire Nuclear Station for 38 years. He was a loving and hard working husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend. Bob had been a devoted caretaker to his first wife, Katherine Woodring Isenhour, who passed away in 2000. Bob loved hunting, photography, nature and was an avid fan of NASCAR. Besides his wife and father, Bob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larance Mathis and Dolly Ruth Mathis; and his paternal grandparents, Homer Holland Isenhour Sr. and Ollie Hole Isenhour. Besides his mother, Bob is survived by his wife, Sheila Yow Isenhour; children, Ben Allman and wife, Amanda and Elizabeth Allman; brothers, Mike Isenhour and wife, Jamie and Jeff Isenhour; sister Lisa Wray and husband, Reggie; nieces, Lacey Pike, Charlotte Wray and Madeline Wray. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 15, at 12 p.m. at Holy Spirit RC. Church 537 N. (Business) Highway 16 Denver, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's memory may be made to Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 1001 Shiloh Rd., Catawba, NC 28609 or to the Coltrane LIFE Center, 321 Corban Ave. SE, Concord, NC 28025.
