Theresa Davis

EDISON, N.J. - Theresa Davis, of Newton, N.C., formerly of Edison, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at New Island Hospital in Bethpage, N.Y. She was 84. Born in Scranton, Pa., she lived in Linden and Edison (48 years) before moving to North Carolina in 2004. She was a member of the Polish Women's Alliance and Destroyers Escort Sailors Association of Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, William; brothers, John, Pete and Chester; and sister, Ann. She is survived by sons, William Joseph Henry and his wife, Valerie Davis, of Newton, N.C., and Joseph William Davis of Old Bridge; daughters, Lorea and her husband, Robert Lacy, of Wilmington, Del., Eileen and her husband, Steven Siegel, of Stroudsburg, Pa., Patricia and her husband, Otis Lee Bruce, of Greenwood, Miss., CarolAnn and her husband, John Cioban, of Cape Coral Fla., and Pamela Roskey of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A private burial will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements by Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.
