Luke Bailey Grider traveled to the Final Frontier on March 29, 2016.
His loving and caring soul arrived joyfully on Planet Earth on Aug. 18, 1996, to parents Bruce and Sheryl Grider and sister Courtney of Conifer.
Luke spent his youthful years swooshing down the mountain representing the Loveland Racing Team. He graduated from Conifer High School in 2014 and was attending Red Rocks Community College with aspirations of entering aviation school.
Luke's giving and generous nature guided him to regularly donate blood to the Bonfils Blood Center, and he was pursuing becoming a bone-marrow donor as well. Skillful and powerful in martial arts, he valiantly earned his third-degree black belt in tae kwon do. He was an avid and enthusiastic "Star Trek" fan. Luke was loved and cherished by all who knew him.

Donations in Luke's memory may be made to the Bonfils Blood Center Foundation at www.bonfils.org.
A scholarship fund in Luke's honor is being set up by the Tri-Delta sorority of the University of Tulsa for underprivileged students to attend Altitude Martial Arts in Conifer.
