DONALD A. DECK SR. 1938-2015
HUDSON - Donald A. Deck Sr., 77, of Osseo, Michigan and formerly of Hudson passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 25, 1938 in Hudson, Michigan the son of Leo and Almeda (Partee) Deck. He married Delores Taylor on July 14, 1963, in Hudson, Michigan and she preceded him in death on June 30, 1998.
Don was a life long Hudson area resident, retiring from Homer Donaldson Co. in Hudson and member of Pittsford Wesleyan Church.
Don is survived by a daughter Jean Deck (Larry Sperling) of Adrian, Michigan; four sons, Donald Jr. (Kimberly) Deck of Adrian, Leo Deck of Jonesville, Brent Deck of Osseo and Joe (Kelly) Deck of Adrian; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, eight sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services for Donald Deck Sr. will be Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with Rev. Douglas Plunkett officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
