Alice J. Taylor Obituary
Alice J. Taylor, age 83 years of Hudson, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at her home. She was born on July 7, 1934 in Swanton, OH, the daughter of Paul V. and Elsie M. (Thompson) Borck. Alice graduated from Ai High School near Swanton in 1952. She married Harold E. Taylor on April 7, 1953, in Hudson and he preceded her in death on September 13, 1997. Alice retired from RIMA Manufacturing of Hudson after thirty years of service. She enjoyed bird watching, the outdoors, gardening, flowers, reading and being a real people person. Alice loved volunteering her time to the community, helping at blood drives, food pantry, bell ringing, elections and the reading program at school. She is going to be dearly missed by all who had known her.
Surviving is her daughter, Ellen Adams, son, Les (Cindy) Taylor all of Hudson, stepson, Royal (Dana) Taylor of North Adams, eight grandchildren, Royal Taylor, Kelly Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Shanna (Mike) Harger, Erik (Jennifer) Taylor, John (Wendy) Buck, Cindy (Troy) McDaniel and Sandi (Ryan) Lashaway, several great-grandchildren, brothers, Paul (Margaret) Borck of Hudson and Tom (Cheryl) Borck of Cement City, sister, Mary (Robert) Tanner of Hudson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, step daughter, Barb Hammill, brothers, Joe and William Borck and sisters, Annabelle McCarty, Beatrice Bernath and Ilena Miller.
Funeral Services for Alice will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Wesley Rowan officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 15, 2018, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to or .
