Beverly Jean Spieth Obituary

READING - Beverly Jean Spieth, 82, of Frontier, passed away Monday, February 9, 2016, at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. Born at home on October 19, 1933, in Frontier, she was the daughter of Robert Blake and Alice May (German) Hopkins. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, reading, singing, cooking and spending time with her family. Beverly was a member of the Camden-Frontier Athletic Boosters and supported the Frontier summer ball teams.

On October 8, 1950, she married Lowell Spieth and he survives in Frontier. Also surviving: five daughters, Julia (Douglas) Hite of Camden, Sara (Rink) Bryner of Frontier, Debra (Brian) Ogle of Camden, Lisa (Tim Wheeler of Reading, and Gina (Joshua) Fennell of Caledonia; one son, John (Rebecca) Spieth of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Iola Mitchell and Phyllis Wagner, both of Hillsdale; one brother, Robert Hopkins of Hillsdale; 19 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son (David Spieth); sister (Barbara Morrison), and brother (AJ Easterday).

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading, with Pastors John and Jordan Spieth officiating. Interment will follow in Frontier Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Lifeline Food Pantry or the Hillsdale Salvation Army.
