Bob O. Laser Obituary
Bob O. Laser, 77, of Waldron, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 3, 2014, at University of Toledo Medical Center.

He was suffering very much but if you could see him now, he is walking straight, tall and dribbling a basketball.

He was born on January 10, 1936, in Hillsdale, Michigan the son of Raymond and Lettie (Sawdey) Laser. He married Jeanne Rorick on December 20, 1955, in Angola, Indiana.

Bob was a life long Waldron area resident, graduating from Waldron High School Class of 1953. He was a farmer for many years. Later he became a millwright building grain elevators all over the country.

He was a member of Waldron First Church of Christ, Masons, Knights of Pythia, Waldron Fire Department and the Marshall in Waldron for several years. Bob was an avid sportsman, playing catcher and basketball on the town teams. He coached Little League Baseball, the Laser-Rorick church softball teams, and was a great dancer.

Surviving Bob besides his wife, Jeanne of 58 years, are five children, Bartly (Lesa), Bradly (Debbie), Bently (Wendy), Barry (Nan), and Julie Laughlin (Dave Pawson); 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one sister, Nancy Schang (Bill Dusseau); one brother, Howard (Colleen) Laser; one brother-in-law, Stan Smith; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and he truly loved them all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Chloan Smith and a dear aunt Lois Laser.

Funeral services for Bob will be Friday, January 10, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Waldron First Church of Christ with Minister Don Crain officiating. Interment will follow in Waldron Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Waldron First Church of Christ and Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Arrangements were entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson.
