Charles David McCloud Obituary
Charles David McCloud, age 85 of Jonesville, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013, at Country Living Adult Foster Care in Hillsdale.

He was born on September 21, 1928 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to John B. and Etta May McCloud. He married Doris Potter on September 24, 1949 in

Rossville, Georgia, and she survives. David was raised in Tennessee before moving to Taylor, Michigan. He then moved to the Jonesville area 25 years ago. He attended Jackson Community College for two years. David was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Navy. David owned & operated D&D Automation in Jonesville for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and he was a Free Mason of Garden City-Builders #587. He loved to build machines and presses, he was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening.

David is survived by two grandsons; John D. (Moneach) Berro, Charles W. (Lainie) Berro, three great-grandchildren, C.J. Berro, Braiden Berro, Marrisa Berro, Joey and Jasmin, one sister; Mary Carlton, three brothers; Owen (Donna) McCloud, Bill McCloud Marshall (Anna Jo) McCloud, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by three brothers; J.B. McCloud, Jim McCloud, Richard McCloud, one daughter; Gail Berro and one granddaughter; Stacey Berro.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, October 3, 2013, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison, with Pastor Owen McCloud officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 4, 2013, at Aldrich-West Cemetery, Somerset Township, Hillsdale County, Michigan. Military Honors to be performed by Boice-Carpenter-Bunce Post #195, American Legion, Jonesville, Michigan.
