Cleo Gladys (Chamberlain) King Obituary
Cleo Gladys King, 95, of Litchfield, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Country Living Adult Foster Care in Hillsdale. She was born in Homer Township on August 30, 1921, to Edward and Hazel (Shilling) Chamberlain. On June 16, 1940, she married Arthur King and he preceded her in death in 1996.

She was an elementary school teacher in Concord schools for over 17 years. Cleo was a member of the Congregational Church in Litchfield, the Garden Club and the Retired School Teachers Association.

Survivors include two sons, Loren King of Litchfield and Philip (Susan) King of Ann Arbor; Son- in- law, Paul Hayward; daughter- in- law, Pamela King; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Arthur, Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debra L. Hayward; son, Arthur King; sisters, Edith Jinkerson, Ruth Burk and Anna Aslin; brothers, Oliver and Paul Chamberlain.

Graveside services for Cleo will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with Reverend Mike Murray officiating. Interment will take place at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Litchfield. Family will receive friends for visitation from 12-1 p.m. Friday at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.

Memorials are suggested to the Crohns Foundation.
