Mrs. Deloris "Jean" (Baldwin) Henry Obituary
Deloris "Jean" (Kuykendall) Henry, 84, of Litchfield, passed away Sunday September 4, 2016 at the Hillsdale Hospital. Born July 21, 1932 in Onondaga MI, she was the daughter of Ivan and Martha (Doepker) Baldwin. Jean attended Onondaga and Leslie schools. As a women in business, she owned and operated the North Butler Grocery Store, Hanover Village Market, and built Jean's Cracker Barrel in Allen. She was also a realtor for Century 21 and ReMax in the Coldwater and Jackson area. Jean loved to dance, meeting friends in such places as Hodunk, Moscow and Pulaski. Later in life, she hit the dance floor while living in The Villages, in Florida. She was an avid bowler and earned many trophies throughout her life, and also loved to play cards and was very competitive; just ask anyone who played against her. She always had a puzzle going, and made several for her grandchildren. Jean also loved to fish.

On October 8, 2005 she married Leon Henry, and he preceded her in death in 2015.

Survivors include four daughters, Kathy (Mark) Blonde of Litchfield; Evelyn (Richard) Barve of Coldwater; Donna (Tom) Hecht of Litchfield and Shirley (Jeff) Zeiler of Temperance; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters; one brother; one grandchild, and one son-in-law.

A celebration of Jean's life will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with Reverend Julie Yoder Elmore officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday until time of service.

Memorials are suggested to the Litchfield United Methodist Church-Food Pantry or Reading Emergency Unit.
