Denise L. (Chalfant) Adams Obituary
Denise L. Adams, age 53, flew into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ the LORD, on November 19, 2014 and undoubtedly is running around the fields with her arms up high praising GOD and looking for ways that she can serve her King in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Ronald Adams. They were just four weeks shy of their 25th anniversary.

Denise was born to Cecil and Linda Chalfant in Davenport, IA, with whom she is now reunited, both having preceded her in death in the last 13 months. She was preceded by her father-in-law, LeRoy Adams, whom she will finally get to meet.

She was a graduate of Jackson High School and attended Jackson Community College and Spring Arbor College. Denise was the first-born of six children. She is survived by sisters, Yvonne (Steven) Barra and Cynthia Chalfant, brothers, Dr. Lance Chalfant, Dr. Andrew (Stephanie) Chalfant, and Dr. Thad (Pamela) Chalfant. Her 23 nieces and nephews were a source of
pride and joy.She was a Great Aunt six times.

Denise is survived by her grandmother-in-law, Avis Musgrave, mother-in-law, Carolyn Adams & her friend Dan Jaspers, sister, Jill (Timothy) Vargo, and brother, Jeffery Adams along with dozens and dozens of aunts, uncles, and cousins, including her special cousin, Marilyn (Jeffery) Crowder-Wile.

Denise was a force of nature. She was the most positive, Faith-Full person that anyone has ever met. Her friendships were many and held deeply, including her husband's family of friends at Litchfield First Baptist Church. Never dwelling on or affirming her health challenges, she was more interested in the person to whom she was listening. A part of many organizations, Denise was a past-President of Jackson Business and Professional Women, a past-board member of Family Services & Childrens' Aid, the local American Red Cross, and an enthusiastic past-member of Business Networking International. She loved supporting personal friends doing missionary work around the world.

She was "Aunty" to 20 little orphans, her prayer warriors in Meerut, India.

Her great Faith and Trust in the LORD was evident in so many ways.

As she wished, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration will be hosted by her church family she loved, Rives Baptist Church, on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11 AM, 2800 West Berry Road, Rives Junction, MI, with visitation beginning at 10 AM and a Luncheon for everyone immediately following the Celebration.

Suggested memorial contributions: , Rives Baptist Missionary Fund, Lifeways Ministries India, or Operation Christmas Child.
