Dianne L. (Weaver) Netcher Obituary
Dianne L. Netcher, 74, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 10, 1943 in Ohio to Carl and Viola Weaver. Dianne married her high school sweetheart, Gale Netcher on August 22, 1964 and he survives.
She was a graduate of Reading High School class of 1961. Dianne went on to graduate from Hillsdale College in 1964 and then received her Master's Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Dianne began her teaching career by teaching second grade at Coldwater Community Schools for several years. She then accepted a position at Reading Community Schools where she taught kindergarten and headstart. Dianne retired after teaching for over 30 years.
Dianne was an active member of the community giving her time and talents to Delta Kappa Gamma and Wednesday Club. She was active at all the events that her children and grandchildren participated in. Dianne regularly attended Pine Ridge Bible Church.
In addition to her husband of 53 years, Gale Netcher, Dianne is survived by daughters, Marilyn Mory, Corrin (John) Hunter and Cynthia Netcher; grandchildren, Elizabeth Netcher, Madilyn Mory, Kaitlyn Mory, Leslie Hunter and Ryan Hunter; brother, C. Wayne (Tara) Weaver and several nieces and nephews
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Robert Netcher and her sister, Carolyn (Weaver) Mason-Dietrich.
Memorial services for Dianne Netcher will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Pine Ridge Bible Church with Pastor Rick Nohr officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Reading Community Schools, Hospice of Hillsdale County or the Pine Ridge Bible Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading.
