HILLSDALE - Donna Jean (Dietz) Miller, 78, of Hillsdale, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 29,1936 in Hillsdale to Herman & Margaret (Reynolds) Dietz. She was married to Vincent Fox in 1955, he preceded her in death in 1983. Donna married Keith M. Miller in 1985 and he preceded her in death in 1993.

Donna was a graduate of Hillsdale High School in 1955. She worked for Hillsdale County Probate Court from 1979-1985 as Probate Register and Court Recorder. She was a member of Hillsdale County Legal Secretaries and Past President of the Hillsdale Lady Elks. Donna was a Hospice Volunteer for 10 years and served on the Board of Directors. She served as Editor of Saline Catholic Church Bulletin and taught Religious Education in Saline, MI. She was an avid golfer and Michigan State University fan. Donna became a Certified Court Recorder in 1983 and she also took classes at JCC in Criminal Justice. Donna was an avid Michigan State Spartan fan.

Donna is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Dan) Burch of Decatur, Indiana, Cindy (Don) Gambrel of Colon and Sarah (Keith) Pund of Huntertown, Indiana; one son, Vincent Michael Fox of Montgomery; one step-daughter, Terri (Marty) Gunaca of Little Rock, AR.; two sisters, Faye (CJ) Moore of Jackson, MI and Terry (Jerry) Mergler of Pleasant Lake, MI. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Vincent and Keith and a daughter, Denise Ann Fox in 1960.

Funeral services for Donna Jean (Dietz) Miller will be Monday, November 23, 2015, at 11 a.m., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Pastor Glenn Russell officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsdale. The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
