Evan was currently in his final year at Indiana University for his Masters Degree in Public Health. Evan loved his friends, family, jam sessions and music festivals. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially being a summer guide for white water rafting on the Ocoee River. He also enjoyed extreme camping and rock climbing.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Valerie & Steven Flowers of Hillsdale; his father and step-mother, Al & Rhonda Clendening also of Hillsdale; step brothers, Mitchell Moskal & Nathan (Samantha) Moskal, Steven Flowers and Jason Walters; step sisters, Jaime Flowers Tackett and Jessica Flowers; grandparents, Iva May Butts and Bob & Rita Clendening, both of Hillsdale. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler in 2006 and grandfather, Myron Butts.

Visitation for Evan Clendening will be Friday, December 11, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, December 12 from 2 to 6 p.m., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale. Private family interment will take place at a later date.

Evan loved helping people from all walks of life. He as well as his family would be very honored if people would make a donation to the Salvation Army or King's Kupboard Food Pantry this holiday season instead of sending flower arrangements to the funeral home.
