Gale Clifford Marsh Obituary
Gale Clifford Marsh of Hillsdale, Michigan went to God January 19, 2017 at Borgess Cardiac Intensive Care in Kalamazoo, MI after a short illness.

Gale was born on October 19, 1940 to Mira (Nichols) and Leslie Marsh. He is survived by the family with which he lived for 19 years, Ralph and Anna Burger, their three children and 7 grandchildren. He is survived also by several brothers and was preceded in death by his sister Velma.

Gale worked from the age of 18 at Star of the West Mill in Quincy, MI. until he was 58, when they "laid him off" in "downsizing". He then moved in with his niece's family, who were very happy to have him!

Gale loved feeding and watching the birds every day. He became very knowledgeable about them! He also loved his Detroit Lions and the Red Wings!

He loved God and Christmas and enjoyed the lights each year! In the spring he enjoyed sitting on the front deck and watching the birds while having breakfast and reading the newspaper. In the fall he used his binoculars to see the birds flying south and to watch the giant wild turkeys outside the house.

Gale's funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading with Pastor Deb Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Berg Cemetery.
