George Franklin "Joe" Stover Obituary
George Franklin "Joe" Stover, age 81 passed peacefully Tuesday evening, January 28, 2014 at The Waters of Martinsville Nursing Home in Martinsville, IN. He was a resident of Morgantown and a former resident of Lebanon, IN and Hillsdale, MI.

Joe was born on December 24, 1932 in Jackson, MI, to the late George V. and Ruby Rachel (Richmond) Stover. He was a 1951 graduate of Hillsdale High School in Hillsdale, MI and went on to graduate from Hillsdale College. Joe served with the United States Army from 1955 to 1956 during the Korean War. After his service to his country, Joe taught Chemistry & Math at the Standish-Sterling High School in Standish, MI. for three years. Then he went to work for Eli Lilly & Co. in Indianapolis as a Sales Manager from 1964 to 1973 and then retired in 1985 from Northwest Industries after 15 years of service.

Joe is survived by his children: Joey Stover, Robin Stover and Roseanne (Tom) Hayes all of Charleston, SC; and a brother: Robert 'Bob' (Jill) Stover of Nappanee, IN.

The Pastor Kyle Hunter will conduct a funeral service on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. A Committal Service will be held at Bankers Cemetery in Hillsdale, MI at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Joe to the Salvation Army Church, 168 S. Jefferson St. Nashville, IN 47448.
