Mr. Henry DeWitt "Hank" Burger Obituary
Henry "Hank" DeWitt Burger, age 90 of Hudson, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Hillsdale County Medical Care in Hillsdale. He was born on November 29, 1925, in Hudson, the son of George C. and Mildred (Ames) Burger. Henry married Mary Ellen Lyon on June 6, 1946, in Gaylord. She survives. Henry was a kind gentle soul and a hard worker. He had a dairy farm in Hudson, hauled milk in Gaylord, worked for the Freeborn Vault Company and retired from Rima Manufacturing. Henry was a member of Wheatland Congregational Church.

Surviving besides his wife, Mary Ellen are two children, Arthur (Donna) Burger of Bedford, IN, and Ronald (Kay) Burger of Indianapolis, IN, son-in-law, Louis Fahrer of Liberty Center, OH several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, sister, Mable Pearl Schulte, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Fahrer, parents, and half sister, Louise Ames.

Funeral Services for Henry will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Rev. Clyde L. Wonders officiating. Burial will follow at Leonardson Memorial Cemetery in Pittsford. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested to Wheatland Congregational Church.
