Iva May (Wade) Butts Obituary
Iva May Butts, 84, of Hillsdale, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the MacRitchie North Skilled Nursing Facility in Hillsdale. She was born September 23, 1932 in Hillsdale to Harry & Alice (Neil) Wade. Iva was married October 18, 1952 to Myron Butts and he preceded her in death in 2002.

Iva was a graduate of Camden Frontier High School in 1950. She was an active member of the Cambria Baptist Church. Iva was a 4-H Leader for the "Well Wishers" for 35 years. She was a member of the Hillsdale County Association of Family Community Education (Hillsdale County FCE) for 59 years and a member of the Cambria Township Board for 42 years. Iva had a passion for family and she loved spending time with all her extended family and friends.

Surviving are three children, Valerie (Steve) Flowers, Connie (Robert) Foster and Jack Butts, all of Hillsdale; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charley (Helen) Wade of North Adams.

Iva was preceded in death by her parents, husband Myron, a daughter Catherine in infancy, and three grandchildren, Kealynn Butts, Tyler and Evan Clendening.

Funeral services for Iva May Butts will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at the Cambria Baptist Church with Pastor Don Harkey officiating. Private family interment will take place at Cambria Cemetery #2. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
