Jessica Conant Obituary

HILLSDALE - Jessica B. Conant, 37, of Hillsdale, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born January 10, 1979 in Hillsdale to Steven Longman and Lory (Clow) Kirby. Jessica married Kevin Conant on Sept. 9, 2006 and he survives.

Jessica was the co-owner and operator of Here's to You... Pub and Grub in Hillsdale. She also worked at the Hillsdale Surgical Group. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School, class of 1997. She loved to travel, attend concerts and Jess was an avid Tiger's Baseball fan. Jess's most important occupation was being a mom.

Surviving besides her husband Kevin is her daughter, Lola; father, Steven Longman & Terry Bailey of Hillsdale; mother, Lory (Mike) Kirby of Coldwater; siblings, Jaime Longman of Hillsdale, Justin Longman & Jessica Nichols of Hillsdale and Jacob Longman & Traci Snyder of Mishawaka, IN; father-in-law, Kyle (Kay) Conant of Allen and mother-in-law, Cinda Conant & Joe Van Deusen of Hillsdale; and maternal grandparents, Denny & Gloria Clow of Moscow.

Jessica was preceded in death by her son, Gabriel in 2010 and paternal grandparents, Bill & Marcia Longman.

Funeral services for Jessica Conant will be Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale. Private family interment will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday from 4-8 PM, at the funeral home.
