Karon A. Branstetter Obituary
Karon A. Branstetter, 68, of Hillsdale, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Countryside Care Center in Jackson. She was born January 7, 1949 in Jackson to Arlo and Phyllis (Butler) Branstetter.
Karon graduated from Jonesville High School in 1967 and she attended Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music for two years. For many years, she worked as a care giver and medical technician at various medical offices. Karon grew up actively involved in Countryside Bible Church in Jonesville and currently was a member of Coco Beach Methodist Church in Florida. She enjoyed gospel music, western movies, traveling, being outdoors and animals. Karon loved spending time with her family, classmates and friends.
Survivors include a sister, Marcia Ferry of Litchfield; two brothers, Phillip (Vicky) Branstetter of Dewitt and John (Deanna) Branstetter of Jonesville; brother-in-law, Roger Nevins of Hillsdale and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Karon was preceded in death by her twin sister, Sharon Lovett Nevins; two brothers-in-law, Adney Lee Lovett and Harold Ferry and a niece, Michele Lea Branstetter.
Funeral services for Karon A. Branstetter will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Countryside Bible Church in Jonesville with Pastor John Lillie officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
