Louise E. Towns Obituary
Louise E. Towns, 94 of Orlando and formerly of North Adams, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Health Central Park in Winter Garden, FL.

She was born on October 10, 1919, in Selma, Louisiana, the daughter of James and Thelma (VanZandt) Carter. Louise graduated from high school in Pollack, LA. She married Ned M. Towns on July 27, 1946, in New Orleans, LA, he preceded her in death on April 5, 1998.

Louise was a member of the North Adams United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star in North Adams and Hillsdale. Louise owned and operated Ned M. Towns Funeral Homes in North Adams and Hanover-Horton with her husband for several years.

Louise is survived by three daughters, Kay Towns of New York, NY, Jeanne (Bruce) Crawford of Orlando, FL and Sally (David) Graham of Chattanooga, TN, step-son, Jeffrey (Shelia) Towns of Novato, CA, step-daughter-in-law, Nancy Towns of Maumee, OH, two grandchildren, Perrin (Kevin) Graham of Nashville, TN and Caili Graham of Chattanooga, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepsons, Jerry and Tom Towns and sister, Jessie Boudreaux.

Funeral Services for Louise will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the North Adams United Methodist Church with Rev. Arthur Turner officiating. Interment will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Osseo. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 1:00- 2:00 P.M.
