Mary E. (Thurston) Warner Obituary
Mary E. Thurston Warner, age 90, mother, grandma and friend, passed away June 17, 2014.

She is survived by her children, Betty Warner, Thelma (Howard) Denney, Phyllis Vaughn, Orin Warner, Ginny (Mitch) Kyser and Joanne Warner (Perry Patton); grandchildren, Mark (Dana) Fish, Matt (Kristin) Fish, Mike (Meredith) Denney, John (Stephanie) Denney, Randy Strong, Ryan Strong, Liberty Kyser, Eric (Lauren) Kyser, Taylor Patton and Jackson Patton; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Spencer and Josephine Thurston; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Mary was a hard working woman, loving mother and grandmother. As the "queen of all gypsies" she loved the open road and she took her last solo road trip to California in her 70's.

Her last known residence was the Pulaski Palace.

She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The family will hold a private graveside service. Per Mary's wishes, a celebration of her life will be held later this summer.

"The purpose of life is to matter - to count, to stand for something, to have it make some difference that we lived at all."
- Leo Rosten
