Rickey L. Miller Obituary
Rickey L. Miller, 64, of Hillsdale and formerly of Bryan, OH, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at his home. He was born July 29, 1953 in Bryan to Ernest and Bernice (Cooley) Miller. He married the love of his life, Christine LoPresto on June 11, 1994 and she survives.
Rickey graduated from Bryan High School in 1971. He worked as a Process and Tooling Engineer for Ford and Visteon in Detroit. Rickey was mechanically gifted. He enjoyed tinkering, creating and building new items, even holding some patents for items he invented. Rickey served his country in the US Navy and was a member of the Hillsdale American Legion.
Surviving besides his wife, Christine are three children, David (Alayna) Miller of North Carolina, Kip Miller of Nevada and Tina-Marie Dangerfield of Tennessee; step-daughters, Anita (Jim) Graham of Napoleon and Michelle (Jeff) Kornak of Hillsdale; 13 grandchildren; sister, Linda (Joe) Beck of Ohio; brother, Terry (Judy) Miller of Ohio; sisters Betty Riggenbach of Indiana and Catherine Lee of Ohio; Father-in-law, Joe (Jane) LoPresto of Hillsdale; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Rickey was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jerry Miller.
At the request of Rickey, cremation has taken place. Memorial services for Rickey Miller will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with David Miller officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date.
