Shirley Dean "SD" Fogg Obituary
SD Fogg, age 87, of Onsted, passed away December 29, 2013 at home. SD was born April 25, 1926 in Jonesville, MI the son of Robert and Mary Jane (Granger) Fogg.

On November 12, 1947 he married Etta "Peggy" Welker in Angola, Ind. and she survives.

SD proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II as a Tin Can sailor. He was a master plumber for many years and a member of Local 190 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters in Ann Arbor. His dream was to build an earth home for his family which he did.

SD was a member of Belleville Masonic Lodge, Belleville Emmanuel Baptist Church and Tecumseh Missionary Baptist Church where he was very involved and active in the church. He was instrumental in the building of many Southern Baptist Churches in the Michigan area and was very pleased to serve the Lord in this capacity. His family was a great joy to him.

In addition to his wife, Peggy, SD is survived by his children, Linda (Thomas) Bitner, Christine (Ronald) Eldred and Mark (LaDonna) Fogg; grandchildren, Heather (Terry, Jr.) White, Thomas Michael Bitner, Robert (Michelle) Bitner, Jonathan (Tabatha) Bitner, Donald (Jenny) Eldred, Amanda (David) Carlisle, Eric (Stephanie) Eldred, Samantha (Andrew) Wolf and Kaitlyn (Scott) Cook; 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 8 brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A. M. Saturday, January 4, 2013 at the Tecumseh Missionary
Baptist Church with Dr. Daniel Pann and Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A. M. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
