Shirley L. (Gibler) Wilson Obituary
Shirley L. Wilson, age 77, longtime resident of Lyons, Ohio, before moving to Wauseon, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside, Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center. 

She was born May 2, 1937 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Floyd and Alice (Bringman) Gibler. 

Shirley retired from Perfection Finishers.  She was a member of First Christian Church of Wauseon, and was an active member with the Extension Club, Birthday Club, Literary Club, and Lyons VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  She loved bird watching, Bingo, and attending concerts.

Shirley will be greatly missed by her children, Randy (Karen) Wilson of Delta, OH, LeAnn (Mark) Toth of Holland, OH, Kevin (Shari) Wilson of Wauseon, OH and Robert (Sherry) Wilson of Delta, OH; stepchildren, Kathy (Dan) Aemisegger of Hillsdale, MI, Nancy (Keith) Strobles of Florida; brother, Jack (Mary) Gibler; sister, Carol (Norm) Armstrong both of Hillsdale, MI; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and of course her four legged companion, Cody.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Gordon Wilson; brother, Ronnie; stepdaughter, Diane Hanning; and close friend, Glen Robinson.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, November 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton, where a memorial service will be held at 12:00 (Noon), with Rev. Mitchell Maxted officiating. Interment will follow at Lyons Cemetery.

A heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Swanton Health Care & Retirement Center for the wonderful care and compassion they provided to our mom over the past three years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 129 E. Elm St., Wauseon, OH 43567.
