Sue Hayhow Obituary
Sue Hayhow, 77, of Waters, Michigan passed away February 12, 2014 in Warrenton, VA.

She was born March 17, 1936 in Pontiac Michigan, the daughter of Edward Charles (Ted) Hayhow and Elizabeth (Betty) Hayhow.

Sue grew up in Hillsdale and the surrounding areas and graduated from Hillsdale College in 1963. In addition to staying home to raise her two children, Sue owned and operated hockey stores in southern Michigan.

Sue passed on her love of hockey to her children and grandchildren, who have all played the game that holds a special place in the fabric of the family.

Sue was known for her unshakable love of family, her kind and generous spirit, and fierce dedication to friends. Throughout her life Sue's constant companions were a dog by her side, a book in her hand, the peace of her beloved lake and the inkling of a plan for her next adventure whether that be a vacation with her family or a road trip with a lifelong friend.

Sue is survived by her son Ted (Valerie) Devine and daughter Amee (Jim) Wiggins and her beloved grandchildren Taylor Devine, Katie Devine, Jack Devine and Bryan Wiggins.

A memorial service for Sue will be held in June in Michigan with further details to be announced in coming weeks.

Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA.
