Victor Virgil Vanderpool Obituary
Victor Virgil Vanderpool, age 66, of Hudson passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the Toledo Hospital.

He was born February 16, 1948, in Hudson to Elwood and Ethel (Dulaney) Vanderpool. Victor married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Judith A. Nichelson on July 1, 1967, in Adrian. He worked at Fayette Tubular Products for 35 years.

Victor dearly loved his children and grandchildren and the time they spent together, one of their favorite pastimes was hunting. He enjoyed being out in nature and visiting their cabins.

He was a member of the NRA.

In addition to his loving wife of 46 years, he is survived by his children, Wendy (Bill) McCallister of Waldron and Tracy (Scott) Coe of Reading; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna (Ray) Wilson of Hudson, Jack (Linda) Vanderpool of Morenci; and Evelyn (Larry) Gray of Florida; sister-in-law, Shirley Vanderpool of Morenci; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Cooper.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Kealynn McKenzie Mae Butts; nephews, Daniel Nichelson and Dennis Poling; brother, Joe Vanderpool; and sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Jim Poling.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian. Funeral services for Victor will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Fritz Kruse officiating.

Cremation will follow the service.
