Wanda J. (Losey) Fowle Obituary
Wanda J. Fowle, 92 of Jonesville, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 4, 1925 in Toledo to Ralph and Etta (Miser) Losey Sr. Wanda married Charles Raymond Young on April 13, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 29, 1978. On February 14, 1981, she married Herbert Fowle Sr. and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2015.
Wanda attended Pittsford and Hillsdale High Schools and she graduated in 1943. For many years, she was employed in the offices of Hillsdale Steel Products, Addison Products, Essex Wire Corp., Reading Brass Co., and the Hillsdale City Clerk's Office. She also lived several years in Pennsylvania, Iowa and Ohio. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for nearly 70 years, St. Paul's Ladies Guild and the Red Hat's Society Lake Belair Belles.
Survivors include her son, Steven (Jacqueline) Young of Jonesville; two step-children, Vicky (Phil) Branstetter of Dewitt and Herbert Fowle Jr. of Osseo; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Leone Ball and Vila Knowlan and one brother, Ralph Losey Jr.
Funeral services for Wanda Fowle will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hillsdale with Pastor Dan Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Hillsdale. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Greater Hillsdale Humane Society.
