Wayne James Adams Obituary
Wayne James Adams, 72 years, of Hudson, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at his home. He was born on September 14, 1944, in Hudson, the son of Paul J. and Emily F. (Rozelle) Adams. Wayne graduated from Addison High School in 1962. He married Shirley A. (Froehlich) Borck on August 22, 1964. She preceded him in death on June 29, 2012. Wayne married Ellen S. (Taylor) Buck on April 5, 2013. She survives. He worked at M & S in Hudson for over 41 years, retiring in 2004. Wayne also owned and operated Adams Farms. He enjoyed Antique Tractor Shows, Thrasher Conventions, collecting toy tractors, hunting and being with family.
Surviving Wayne is his wife, Ellen S. Adams, sons, Daniel (Rebecca) Borck of Clayton, Roger (Thomas Skeels) Adams of Lincoln Park, John (Wendy) Buck of Osseo, Debbra (Nelson) Renner of Manitou Beach, Denise (Edward) Broich of Hudson, Cindy (Troy) McDaniel of Manistique and Sandra (Ryan) Lashaway of Alvordton, OH. 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sister, Karen Yager and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, parents, a brother in infancy and grandson, Jaret Borck, our angel.
Funeral services for Wayne will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Tom Mansfield and Pastor Ruth Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017, at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Hospital or Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
