William Gary Kellam Obituary

JONESVILLE - William Gary Kellam, 79, of Jonesville, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at his home. He was born August 23, 1936 in Hillsdale to William Coyn & Martha (Swaney) Kellam. Gary was married March 16, 1963 to Pat (Adams) Thompson and she survives.

Gary was a farmer all his life. He had formerly done carpet installation and was a sales representative for Moormans Feeds, he also refurbished boats and trailers in his spare time. Most recently Gary was the owner and operator of G& G Animal Control. Gary was a graduate of Jonesville High School, class of 1954. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country from 1954- 1956. Gary was a member of Countryside Bible Church and was an usher at church. Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman and had formerly enjoyed riding and showing horses.

Surviving besides his wife Pat is a blended family of eight children, Bob (Robin) Thompson of Jonesville, Laura (Mo Tanner) Thompson of Reading, Jim (Ellen) Thompson of Homer, Kim (John) Kellam-Reagan and Joe (Deidre) Kellam, both of Jonesville, Lane (Cindy) Kellam of Tennessee, Kellie Kellam and Shawn Kellam Garrett, both of Indiana; 29 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gale (Dorothy) Kellam of Augusta and Glen (Karen) Kellam of Vicksburg.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services for Gary Kellam will be Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 12:00 noon, at Countryside Bible Church in Jonesville with Pastor Rob Stewart officiating. Private family interment will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends for visitation Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until services at the church. Arrangements are entrusted at the Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville.
