Mr. Williard M. Milliman Obituary
Willard M. Milliman, 95, of Hillsdale, died Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. He was born June 19, 1921 to Leon and Lena (Barber) Milliman in Morenci. He married Blanche I. Bechtol on August 3, 1955, in Canandaigua, and she preceded him in death on September 25, 2014.

Willard was a self-employed farmer, laborer and carpenter all his life, and he also worked for 20 years at the former Con-O-Lite Vault in Hudson. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving are three sons, Lonnie (Diane) Milliman of Hudson, Larry (Janeille) Milliman of Pittsford, Ronnie (Candi) Milliman of Vicksburg; three daughters, Bonnie (Lowell) Dietz of Pittsford, Susan (Marion) Leininger of Oklahoma, Cheryl Shaffer of Wauseon, OH; and son-in-law Walter Barry of Pittsford; a sister, Marjorie (Verl) Sprague of Hudson; a brother, Rodney (Myrna) Milliman of Hillsdale; twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Willard was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Lavinder and Margaret Barry; one sister, Rosalyn; one brother, Duane; and son-in-laws, Donald Dietz, Pete Lavinder, and Paul Shaffer.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with Pastor Terry Bobzein officiating. Military Honors by the Morenci American Legion Post #368 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci will follow the luncheon at Pittsford Congregational Church. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
