Alan Reed Iverson passed away Dec. 3, 2012. He was born to Amos Andrew and Thelma Hansen Iverson on June 27, 1942, in Tremonton, Utah.
Alan graduated from Bear River High School in 1960 and served a mission for the LDS Church to the Southern States from 1962 to 1964. He married Judy Bowers on March 22, 1971. They later divorced.
Alan worked at various employments including Thiokol, Autoliv, Cache Valley Dairy, Mr. Mac and Dillard's. He married Barbara Noyes Hanna on Dec. 21, 1979, in Morgan, Utah. They were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple in 1983.
Barbara and Alan resided in the Preston, Idaho, area. He held offices in the Lions Club at both the local and state level. Alan served in various positions in the LDS Church.
Alan was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and son Andrew Reed Iverson. He is survived by his stepdaughter Linda Mae Hanna Pilkington and daughter Alicia Rae Iverson Booth. He has two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the Milton Church, 1255 N. Morgan Valley Drive in Morgan, Utah. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Online condolences may be made at
