GREEN RIVER - Beatrice Eudora Beck, 101, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at her home in Green River after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 15, 1911 in Birch Creek, Daggett County, Utah, the daughter of Zebulon Edwards and Catherine Hill Edwards. She attended Vernal High School, Vernal, Utah.

She married Larence Ruben Beck on June 3, 1931, in the Manti LDS Temple in Manti, Utah. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1963.
She had been employed as a cook for the Daggett County High School from 1951 to 1975.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served an LDS mission to Louisville, Ky., from 1977 to 1978.
Her interests were genealogy, gardening, cooking, photography, crocheting and reading.
Survivors include her sons Milton Beck of McKinnon, Wyo., and Ron Beck (Ruth) of Green River; daughter Leah May Benson (Myron) of Newton, Utah; daughter-in-law Lorraine Beck of Green River; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Larence Beck; son Stephen Larry Beck; sisters Avis Weeks (Fred), Florence Ellsworth (Dick) and Myrtle Beck (Alton); granddaughter Christine Benson; and two great-granddaughters, Kacia Marie Peterson and Ivy Renae Beck.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Green River LDS Stake Center, 120 Shoshone St. in Green River. Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, and prior to services 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will take place at the McKinnon Cemetery in McKinnon, Wyo.
