Milly Jill Smith passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Primary Children's Hospital and has returned to her loving Heavenly Father. She was born May 16, 1996, to Rulon (Duely) and Robyn Smith of Elwood, Utah. She is the granddaughter of Lynn and Connie Peterson of St. Charles, Idaho, and Jay and Grace Smith of Hyrum, Utah.
Milly came into the world as a special needs child, because of her condition she was able to meet many new friends. She loved being a happy girl. She had an unbelievable sense of humor and was a tease. She loved ice cream, shopping, watching videos, looking at books, eating hamburgers and drinking root beer. Milly is a home body - that was her favorite place to be.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a Laurel and enjoyed attending Seminary. She loved Mrs. Pond and enjoyed the cards the class would send her when she was home sick.
She is survived by her siblings Chassidy Reudas of Hyrum, Chisholm Smith of Thatcher, Brad (Amber) Smith of Tremonton, Stephanie (Dane) Conger of Tremonton, and Megan Smith and Wendy Smith of Elwood; five nieces and three nephews. She is preceded in death by her niece Kylee Reudas.
We would like to thank Bear River Medical, McKay Dee Hospital, Utah State Baby Watch, Primary Children's and the Box Elder School District Special Needs Department.
Milly left to go back to heaven as a special daughter of God.
Funeral services will be at noon Friday, April 19, 2013, in the Elwood LDS church, 4865 W. 9600 North in Elwood, Utah. Viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, and 10:30 to 11:40 a.m. prior to the funeral at the Elwood LDS church. Interment will be in the Elwood Cemetery.
