Clinton Lenard Jeppsen, 78, passed away on June 18, 2013, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Mantua, Utah, to Lenard and Mary Gunnell Jeppsen. While serving in the Air Force, he met Connie Humpherys and they were married in the Salt Lake temple on May 3, 1957. Clinton worked as a probation officer for the State of Utah until his retirement in 1989. At that time he opened the Eiderdown Therapy Center in Providence, where he continued to work until he got sick. In 2011 he married Lynn Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and his eternal companion, Connie. He is survived by his wife Lynn, children Lori Iverson of Millville; Julie Greer of Hyrum; Jeff (Helen) of Smithfield; Tim (Erika) of Logan; Wendy (Bruce) Wankier of Brigham City; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, one brother, Deon "Gus" (Janet) Jeppsen of South Jordan; two sisters, Dixie (Richard) Noyes of Hooper; Debra Losee of Mantua. Clinton's children wish to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the loving kindness and compassion that Lynn provided during his illness. A viewing will be held on 6 to 8 p.m. June 20 at Fruitland Acres Ward (464 N. 300 East, Providence, Utah). Funeral services will be 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 21, before funeral services at noon at Fruitland Acres Ward with the interment at Logan City Cemetery following. The family would like to specially thank Hospice for all of their help during Clinton's time of need. Clinton is in the care of SereniCare Funeral Home in Providence, Utah.
