Jerrold J. Lubbers Obituary
Jerrold J. Lubbers, age 83, of Holland, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at The Inn at Freedom Village.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict. Jerry was a police officer and sergeant for the City of Holland for 38 years. He was a former member of Bethel Reformed Church serving in many areas and a current member of Trinity Reformed Church. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise, in 1986; and son, Ron Lubbers in 1977.

Jerrold is survived by his wife, Beverly, of 26 years; and children, Sandy and Mark Zingle of Eagan, MN, Randy and Kathy Lubbers of Wyoming; grandchildren, Brett Zingle and Sarah Wendel, Brandon Zingle and Trudy Barth, Mark Lubbers, Jeremy Lubbers, Heather and Brandon Kujath; great-granddaughter, Penne Kujath; brother and sisters-in-law, Susan and Paul Heinlein, Marjorie and Howard Gras, Bill and Linda Garvelink; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Trinity Reformed Church, 712 Apple Avenue in Holland. Reverend Chris DeGraaf will be officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 7, at the church and one hour prior to the service.
