Karyl Mulder Obituary
Karyl Mulder, age 70, having completed the Lord's work for her on earth, was welcomed home by Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, June 25th.

Karyl's joy was Jesus! Her deepest desire was to share His love with others but her passion was for the healing of broken marriages. Karyl experienced God's unconditional love in her marriage of 51 years to Phil and gives Christ all the glory as "He holds all things together" (Colossians 1:17)! Karyl was a gifted speaker and teacher, sharing the Truth of God's Word. She and her twin sister, Karen, are known as the "Good News Gals." Together they shared the unconditional love of God through Christ as they taught women their value and identity in Christ through teachings, skits and song at various churches and retreats. Many may remember Karyl's joyful countenance and firm faith as she worked for many years at Family Fare, as well as at FMB/Huntington Bank and Metropolitan Title.

Karyl was eternally thankful to be part of the body of Christ, and actively involved at Liberty Worship Center in Holland. Karyl held her family most dear. She and Phil enjoyed taking golf cart rides together and sharing the day's events while catching the occasional glimpse of a deer or enjoying her flower gardens along the way. She loved her children and grandchildren with abandon and Proverbs 31:28 is Truth, "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her." Karyl lived her life and entered her eternal home with Revelation 12:11 on her lips and in her heart, "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."

Karyl was preceded in death by her sons, Ronald Henry Mulder and Timothy Phillip Mulder (infant) as well as her parents, Arthur DeJong and Arlowa Betten.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Mulder, her children Amy (Ron) Kole, Leon Mulder and Andrew Mulder, grandchildren Dewey (Kalie) Mishoe, Sawyer Kole, and Tiffany Kole, sisters Gloria St. Clair, Helen (Dave) Bos, Karen (Ben) Rowan, and Marianne (Howard) Hoeksema, her step-father Robert Betten and various aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family held a private graveside service on Saturday, June 28. Plans for a Celebration of Life Service are being arranged and will be announced by Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Liberty Worship Center 285 James St., Suite D, Holland, MI 49424
