Stanley is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kathleen; children, Randy and Bev Schipper of Hamilton, Barb and Mick Venema of Kalamazoo, Gary and Sharon Schipper of Hudsonville, Kevin and Joellyn Schipper of Allegan; grandchildren, Andy and Jodi Schipper, Katie Schipper, Brian, Tracey, Stacey and Andrea Venema, Ross, Nathan and Trenton Schipper, Stephany and Kevin Houseman, Philip Schipper; great-grandchildren, Noah Schipper, Faith Schipper and Hannah Houseman; in-laws, Delvin and Tena Lankheet, Thelma Clark, Perry Wilcox, Marilyn Scholten, Elaine and Bill Cameron, Earl and Gayle Lankheet.
Funeral services with Military Honors are planned for 1 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at Overisel Christian Reformed Church, 4738 142nd Ave, Overisel, with Rev. Steve Mulder officiating. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S State St., Zeeland. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland and Love, Inc. Condolences may be left online at www.yntemafh.com.
