Charles Berger Obituary

Charles "Bu-Butte" Herman Berger, a resident and native of Thibodaux, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012. He was 75 years of age.
A memorial service was at 8 a.m. Saturday at Thibodaux Funeral Home in Thibodaux. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Chiasson Berger; sons, Craig Berger and wife, Sharon, Don Berger and wife, Janel, and Eric Berger and wife, Mona; daughter, Amy Clement and husband, Troy "T.C."; grandchildren, Mike Berger and wife, Tara, Jennifer Borne and husband, Jon, Krysten Clute and husband, Chad, Christi Broussard and husband, Richard, Travis Berger, Tyler Berger, Nicholas Berger and Brock Berger; great-grandchildren, Carter Clute, Hudson Berger, Charlie Borne and Harrison Broussard; and sister-in-law, Joyce Boudreaux and husband, Robert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Berger and Edna Darsey Berger; brother, Louis Berger Jr.; sister, Rosemary Berger Williford; sister-in-law, Helen Arceneaux; and brother-in-law, Larry Arceneaux.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was also a Mason and the owner of Ballou's Auto Parts.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
