Shirley Cleveland

Shirley Bentley Cleveland, 75, a native and resident of Raceland, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012.

A Visitation will be held 8 a.m. on Saturday, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland. A Religious Service will be held 10 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland on Saturday. Burial will follow in Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.

She is survived by her daughters Beverly Campbell, Stephanie Joseph, and Marcel Bentley; sons Wilbert Bentley, Morris Bentley and Joshua Bentley; brother Miller West. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Morris Cleveland; parents Mintz and Ella Bentley; sons Jonathan Bentley and Mark Bentley; daughters Pepettra Guidroz and Phyllis Barrios; brothers Albert Bentley, Melvin Holmes Bentley.

She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
