Grammer, Kate (Duet) - Galliano  
Kate Duet Grammer, 75, a native and resident of Galliano, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday, July 30, and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday, July 31, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Rickey Guidry (Karen) and Deirdre M. Guidry (James); their father, Albert J. Guidry; daughters, Jaimie Grammer and Patricia Hope; grandchildren, Justin, Devin, Khalid, Benjamin, Jacob, Lucas and Hope; great-grandchildren Cole, Hunter, Logan, Bailey, Trey, Demi and Lorelai; godchildren, Barry Robichaux, Lisa Cheramie and Stacy Lerille; sisters, Linda Lefort (Chester) and Joan Guidry; and brothers-in-law, Ronald Helmer Sr. and Roger Blanchard Sr. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jaqueline; husband, Jack Grammer; beloved son, Kelly Bouffanie; grandchild, Tracy Cantrelle; parents, Edison and Sisca A. Duet; in-laws, Leander and Agnes Guidry; sisters, Naomie Cheramie, Rita Blanchard and Mary Ann Helmer; nephew, Corey Guidry; and niece, Rachel Cheramie. Special thanks goes to Greta, Mary Lynn, and her caretakers, Linda Lee Joseph and Krystal. Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements.

Guidry, Doris (Loupe) - Choupic  
Doris Loupe Guidry,75, a native of Lockport and resident of Choupic, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday, July 24, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Earl John "Git" Guidry; daughters, Tammy Lassere and husband, Ashley, Cheryl Landry and husband, Barry, Christine Gravois and Dolly Landry and husband, Keith; sons, Richard Paul Guidry and Todd John Guidry and wife, Candy; and brother, Sidney Loupe Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sindey and Mable Delaune Loupe; brother, Herman Loupe; sister, Betty Loupe Plaisance; grandson, Chad Paul Gravois; and son-in-law, Martin Gerard Gravois. Doris will be deeply missed by her 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.

Guidry, Joyce (Bascle) - Bourg  
Joyce Mary Bascle Guidry, 94, a native and lifelong resident of Bourg, went to her eternal rest at 2:30 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, July 25, at St. Ann Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jasper "Jay" Savoie; second husband, I.P. "Peenie" Guidry; mother, Alice Walker Bascle; father, Lionel P. Bascle; sisters, Bernice Whipple, Mamie Shane, Amelia Whipple and Adeline Falgout; and brothers, Harold and Vayne Bascle. Joyce was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. Her cats were her children and she loved gardening. The family would like to thank Heritage Manor and the nurses and staff for her care. Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
