Milton "Too Sweet" White, 66, a native of Plaquemine and resident of Gray, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gray with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Thibodaux. He is survived by his wife, Brenda White, stepson, Terrence Verrett (Yolanda); stepdaughters, Shawn Verrett, Tanyeake Johnson (Rodney) and Shayla Verrett; stepbrother, Michael Barker; sister, Evelyn Dangerfield; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Joshua Ryan Arceneaux, 34, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015. Visitation will be from 8:30 until funeral time Tuesday, March 3, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his father, Glenn John Arceneaux and wife, Carrie; mother, Robin Brock Arceneaux; sons, Zachary "Bug" McNatt; brothers, Jarrett Arceneaux and Adam Brock; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilbert Arceneaux; grandmother, MaryLee Guillotte Arceneaux; great-aunt, MaryAnn Prejean; grandfather, Robert Brock Jr.; grandmother, Gretel Perez Brock; and brother, John G. Arceneaux. He was a kind and loving man who put family and friends first. He was a dedicated father to his son Zachary "Bug". He loved his job that allowed him to travel all over the United States. He was a huge football, baseball, basketball and wrestling fan and spent hours fishing. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and will always be loved and remembered. Bland, Lance Evan - Houma  
Lance Evan Bland, 53, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Houma, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. Service time will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. He is survived by his son, Logan Bland; father, Larry Bland and wife, Karan; brother, Deron and wife, Leslie; sisters, Laurel and husband, Joey Henry, and Traci and husband, Andre Daigle; nieces and nephews, Dr. Samantha Bland and Duncan Bland, Ethan and Annelise Henry and MacKenzee and Tate Daigle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret R. Bland; and grandparents, Leon and Beryl Bland and Jules Sr. and Rita Rebelle. Lance had a Petroleum Engineering Degree and a master's degree in business administration. He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid LSU football fan. Lance was an organ donor. A Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by a private burial. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine L. ""Geri"" Busey; sons, William T-Will Busey and Dallas Busey; stepson, Kyle Marcantel and wife, Jamie; daughter, Taylor Busey and Terry Busey; stepdaughter, Tiffany Kee (Joshua); brothers, Wilson (Bubba) Busey Jr. and Russell Busey; sister, Dora Bergeron; and grandchildren, Gage Kee, Kevin Marcantel, Tucker Kee and Connor Gulley. De Generes, Chester Francis - Houma  
Chester Francis De Generes, 68, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at 7:15 a.m. after an extended hospital stay. His body has been donated to science. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral in Houma. He is survived by his siblings, Ida Robichaux and husband, Ernest, Eloyne Bergeron and husband, Ira, Edith Calhoun and husband, Don, and Samuel De Generes and wife, Mary Sue; nieces, Mark and Denise Robichaux, Don Jr. and Karen Calhoun, Claire and Lanny Latour, Cary Calhoun, Tim Robichaux, Thomas and Julie Calhoun, James and Dot Bergeron, Laurie and Keith Robichaux, Eric and Rachael Bergeron, Carol and Darryll Domangue, Leland Bergeron, Lee and Michael Duhe, Amy and Jake Berret, Samuel and Robyn De Generes; numerous cousins and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Samuel De Generes; grandparents, Eloyne and A.P. Arcement, and Ida Z. and Louis Grafton De Generes. Chester was one of eight special students taught by nurse, Mrs. Yvonne Pellegrin, in the old Houma Elementary School. The students were moved to several locations until they moved to the Houma Air Base and became what is now the Terrebonne ARC, thanks to a group of dedicated parents and supporters. The family would like to thank Family Doctor Clinic especially Dr. Brian Matherne and Dr. Bruce Guidry for the love and great care of Chester. They also want to thank Father Joseph, Haydel Hospice and the entire staff of Terrebonne General Medical Center, especially the 3rd floor north, for their love and support throughout his stay. Percy J. Guidry Sr., 86, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away March 1, 2015. Funeral services were Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Larose with burial in Cheramie Cemetery. He is survived by his children, Patricia Guidry, Kathy Robles, Polly Danos, Russell Guidry, and Dolly Lefort; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Ulysses Guidry and James Guidry; and sisters, Joyce G. Gaspard, Glorine G. Pitre, Nancy G. Kiffe, and Susie G. Eymard. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Eula G. Guidry; parents, Gustave and Ophelia G. Roy A. Guidry, 76, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away, Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Guidry and wife, Amanda; daughters, Gay Orgeron and husband, Henry, Bonny Louviere and husband, Peter; stepchildren, Gerry Galjour Jr. and wife, Anna, Shane Galjour, Rowdy Galjour and wife, Angelle, Tracy Galjour and companion, Tim, and Gavin Galjour; 12 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren; brothers, Dudley Guidry and Oneil Guidry Jr., and sister Annette Triche. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Fay R. Guidry; parents, Oneil Guidry and Lillie M. Guidry; grandchild, Lacey Guidry and great-grandchild, Tanner Guidry. Roy was a member of the Knights of Columbus, South Lafouche High School Booster Club, the American Legion and Bible studies. He was a sports fanatic who loved spending time with family and friends.
