Beatrice Foret Gisclair, 81, a native of Houma and a resident of Galliano, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ivan "Yogi" Gisclair Sr.; three sons, Phillip Gisclair and wife, Mary, Sherman Gisclair and wife, Merline, and Ivan Gisclair Jr. and wife, Kathray; four daughters, Margaret G. Sykes and husband, Steve, Mona Rae G. Curole and husband, Willie "Flea", Tracey G. Vedros and husband, Timothy, Jodylynn G. Townsley and husband, Kevin; three brothers, O'Neil Foret, Leroy Foret and Loney Foret; one sister, Eula Foret; 13 grandchildren, Lisa Wyckoff, Donna Pontiff, Bobby Boughamer, Grant Boughamer, Penny Koester, Blaine Curole, Benji Gisclair, Lee Gisclair, George Townsley II, Geoffery Townsley, Hannah Vedros, Remi Vedros and Hansel Vedros; and 14 great-grandchildren, Megan Wyckoff, Krestin Wyckoff, Brennen Bourg, Leia Pontiff, Alex Boughamer, Justin Boughamer, Alan Koester, Kelly Koester, Kevin Koester, Beaux Curole, Logan Curole, Jonah Curole, Rufus Gisclair and Elizabeth Townsley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Sedolia Henry Foret; one son-in-law, Robert "Bob" Boughamer Sr.; one grandson, Blake M. Gisclair; one great-grandson, Jake Boughamer; four brothers, Jervis, Harold, Junius and Eulan Foret; and six sisters, Dorita F. Chauvin, Florence F. Chauvin, Odelia F. Seven, Ouida F. LeCompte, Maggie Foret and Hattie Foret.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano.
