Brad Malcolm, 33, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Madisonville, died Monday, June 10, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ellisa Malcolm; children, Kate and Graham Malcolm; parents, Steve and Joan Malcolm; brothers, Ryne Malcolm and fiancee, Jessica Dugas; sister, Stephanie Lirette and husband, Rodney; nephew and nieces, Eric, Lauren and Renee Lirette; grandfather, Chauncey Malcolm; and grandmother, Kathy Self.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Jo Malcolm; and grandfather, Charles Self.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed fishing, playing soccer and hunting.
He was a graduate of Central Lafourche High School and Louisiana State University
. He was an employee at C-Innovation.
