Hazel Triche Duplantis LeBoeuf, 86, a native and resident of Houma, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at 8:55 a.m.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will resume on Monday, from 10 a.m. until service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Ernest J. Duplantis Jr. and wife Charlene, Johnny Paul Duplantis, Trudy M. Duplantis, Tony A. Duplantis and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, J.P., Toni, Brandon, Amy, Abel; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Alice Bergeron.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest J. Duplantis, Sr.; second husband, Joseph J. LeBoeuf; parents, Atney Triche and Clothilde Marcel Triche; granddaughter, Traci; brothers, Cleveland, Anthony, Claude, Clovis, Maurice; sisters, Daisy Mae and Joyce Triche.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church Altar Society. She was the President and Vice President for the East Park Ladies Auxiliary for many years and was a member of the Evergreen Lion's Club.
She was also a member of the American Legion Home, she was a Girl Scout Leader and a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She was very active in the church.
She loved playing BINGO and going to the casino.
