Justin Lee Bergeron, 69, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 4:07 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Nancy Portier LeBlanc; former wife, Jean Hidalgo Bergeron; two sons, Louis Bergeron and wife, Sandy, and Jason Bergeron and wife, Beth; two daughters, Veronica Gonzales and husband, Shane, and Kelly Bouvier and husband, Kent; and 11 grandchildren, Myles, Hunter, and Kelsey Bergeron, Tyler, Preston, and Parker Bergeron, Chase and Dex Gonzales, and Evan, Brette, and Seth Bouvier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Joseph Bergeron and Fannie Berthelot Bergeron; two brothers, Donald "Scritch" Bergeron and Bobby Bergeron; and five sisters, Lorraine Clement, Willie Mae McGehee, Betty Boudreaux, Audrey Krieg and Susan Bergeron.
Mr. Bergeron was a veteran of the Army
National Guard and a member of the American Legion. He worked as a Real Estate Agent, Insurance Agent and Notary Public.
Landry's Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
