Leona Trahan Breaux, 93, a native of Theriot and resident of Houma, died at 10 a.m., Sunday, March 3, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will also be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, James Paul Breaux and wife, Kim Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Lisa Breaux Arcement and husband, Richard, Paul Breaux and wife, Debra, Jamie Breaux Pellegrin and husband, Perry, and Kandie Breaux Hutchinson and husband, B.J.: seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Paul Breaux; parents, Trasmond and Aimee Hebert Trahan; brothers, Samson, Edmond and Peter Trahan and Kervin Hebert; and sisters, Stella Trahan Breaux, Ella Trahan Breaux, Annie Trahan Olivier and Mae Trahan Breaux.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
