The Rev. Eddie Thompson

The Rev. Eddie Patrick Thompson, 51, a native of Shreveport and resident of Jena, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013.
Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, in Jena, with burial in the Jena Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Synthya Smith Thompson, of Jena; mother, Evelyn Domangue Thompson, of Jena; son, William Clint Jones, of Jena; daughters, Crystal Behnk, of Moscow, Mo., and Morgan Parris, of Jena; brothers, the Rev. Packy Thompson and wife, Janet, of Houma, and Neil Thompson, of Jena; sister, Stacey Maxwell and husband, Scott, of Jena; and grandmother, Angeline Domangue, of Houma.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Laura Jean Hudson Thompson; and father, the Rev. Patrick Wesley Thompson.
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena was in charge of arrangements.
