Minister Vivian Ann Brooks, 62, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Gray, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Rhodes Funeral Home in New Orleans. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum.
She is survived by her husband, Deacon James Brooks; daughters, Cortina Brooks-Smith and Nellie L. Brooks; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. J.J. Wright and Nellie Wright, and Freddie and Irene Stewart.
Rhodes Funeral Home in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
